This view is one of thousands of back country creeks. Captain Mike has been catching plenty of Snook from this particular creek for 30 years. These back country creeks hold a bounty of Snook, small Tarpon, Red fish, Juvenile Jewish and Mangrove Snapper just to name few. A life time can be spent fishing these creeks and Captain Mike has done just that and he wants to share his fantastic experiences with you. The tidal rivers which are the larger rivers that feed these creeks, along with rain and fresh water runoff, hold a much larger variety and generally larger fish. These rivers are fished with live bait, lures and jigs. There are many of these tidal rivers which feed hundreds of smaller rivers which branch off into the back country creeks.
