About your day...
You will be fishing with me, Captain Mike Merritt
aboard a 20’ Pathfinder boat, Powered by a 4 stroke Yamaha 150 HP motor.
You will be using top of the line shimano fishing gear. I use
Florocarbon leaders, braided line and light wire circle hooks for the
optimum chance to hook up!

I have been running my own boat since the age of 13 and never stopped. You will be able to benefit from my experience and knowledge of fishing these islands.
Not only will you experience some of the best fishing in the world, but you will see and experience the beauty of the everglades 10,000 Islands.

From its back country waters to the outside islands the Everglades is
a truly unique ecosystem, full of birds and wildlife.
If you want to lure fish then I can also accommodate you. I grew up
using lures and can guide you to some great lure fishing if that your
preference. I can help you with your technique and show you things that
took me years to learn.
Some days we will mix it up and use lures and live bate in the same day.
One thing is for sure, I will work hard to make sure you have a great
day of fishing. I guarantee you will catch fish with me.
